Preheat oven to 350 °F
Melt the butter in a 8x8 baking dish.
Drain the peaches and set aside.
In a mixing bowl add the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Mix together with a fork.
Add the milk to the flour mixture. Mix until combined into a smooth batter.
Pour the batter on top of the melted butter in the baking dish. DO NOT STIR.
Spoon the peaches gently on top of the batter, distributing them evenly in the dish. DO NOT STIR.
Lightly sprinkle the cinnamon on top of the peaches.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes, until the crust is a golden brown.
Serve warm and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
